Welcome to Physical Education! 

Hi, my name is Jamie O'Donoghue, I am one of three Physical Education Teachers here at East Franklin Elementary School.  I enjoy teaching students how to live a healthy lifestyle!  Teaching Kindergarten through fourth graders is truly exciting; with each day brings a new and thrilling experience!  The excitement that the children get when they master a new skill is inspiring!

This is my fifth year teaching at East Franklin.  I have a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Development from the University of Tennessee, and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Western Carolina University.

I currently reside in Franklin, NC with my husband. Part-time I enjoying working at the Franklin Fitness Center teaching Step & Water Aerobics.  I enjoy staying active and living a healthy lifestyle!

My goal in each Physical Education Class is to keep each student safe while providing them with fun Physical Education lessons!
