Welcome!

As an English teacher, I love the language and hope to instill in my students that same love.  I want my students to enjoy reading and writing as much as I do, and I want them to come to English class excited and ready to learn.  I hope we'll have some fun!  In order for students to do well, they need to be in class every day and do their best work.  That's all any teacher can ask.

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, graduated from high school in Farmington, Maine, and attended college at Western Carolina University.  I have 3 daughters (2 of my own and a bonus stepdaughter) and 4 grandchildren.  I love these mountains and enjoy camping, hiking, and mountain biking; although, I'm a tad slow on a bike!
