Welcome to Health Occupations. Health Careers fastest growing markets for employment at this time. I am excited to be able to offer to Franklin High School students an introduction into the health care field. At this time we offer Allied Health I and Allied Health II. There are a number of things that you can do in the health care fields and some great opportunities locally to work or to continue to study after high school. If I can answer any questions or if you are unsure what these classes are like please let me know. I look forward to seeing you in class.

My name is Rita Esterwood. I have my bachelor of science degree in nursing and my master's degree in nursing and am a registered nurse. I will be finishing up course work on December 7th 2010 with my teaching license as well. I thought I could never find anything I liked doing more than being a nurse but teaching health occupations is even better. I get really excited about introducing people to the health field and I love studying anatomy and physiology or how the body works. I am very proud of our Certified Nurse Aide program and those students who receive their CNA licenses. I feel pretty lucky to be where I am.
