Hello and welcome to math!  I am Dina Picou.  I have been teaching for over 20 years, and have taught many different math subjects.  I also coach swimming and sponsor the math club.  Feel free to ask me about these!

I expect students to participate in math class and do math.  In order to understand and be able to do math, students need to prepare themselves by doing homework, being actively involved in class and asking questions.  If students need help, there is a math learning center on Tuesday afternoons.  I am also available most afternoons, and mornings.  Students just need to let me know they are coming.

I send out assignment sheets weekly and the students receive them in class.  If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

I hope to make all of my students enjoy their math class!
