My name is Pam Roper.  I am a native of Franklin, NC and graduated from Franklin High School.  I'm very excited about working with your child this semester.  Please use this website as a resource for parents and students.  Feel free to email any suggestions you might have to improve this site.  

Parent - Teacher communication can be the single most important ingredient for a student's success.  Please expect a current progress report to come home with your student at the 3-week and 6-week marks during a grading period.  If you do not get a progress report at the appropriate time, feel free to contact me.  

I am experimenting with a texting service to notify parents about important events such as upcoming tests.  If you haven't received those texts and would like to please email your cell # to me so I can add you to my list.

Graphing Calculators are an integral part of all math courses at Franklin High School.  Since students will continue to use this type of calculator throughout their college math courses, it is recommended that students consider purchasing their own TI-84 calculator.  Students are offered the opportunity to have one of these calculators issued by the school for their use after a parent signs the request form.
