Welcome to MATH.  My name is Gina Billingsley and this is my 4th year of teaching at Highlands School. 

In my classroom, I expect all students to come to class on time, with pencil, paper, homework and textbook.  I expect all students to participate in all classroom activities, which includes classroom discussion and homework.  

Mathematics can be difficult for some students.  Completing assignments on time, taking notes, participating in class, working examples, asking questions in class and studying will help make them become successful.  I am also available most mornings and afternoons to assist students.  I usually arrive to school by 7:10 and stay most afternoons until 4:00.  I encourage students to get assistance as soon as they find they are struggling with a concept.  This will prevent the student from becoming overwhelmed and frustrated in the classroom.
