Welcome to the WONDERFUL world of READING!!!

I am very excited to be in my second full year of teaching. I am the Elementary EC teacher for Highlands School, and LOVE IT. Highlands has a lot of new and exciting things going on to help students become better readers.

I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education and a concentration in severe disabilities.

A little about me:

I have been married for about two and a half years to my amazing husband, Nick. We have two dogs, two cats, and two horses. We love to hike, mountain bike, and camp as much as possible. I also love to read mystery novels as well as really good love stories while curled up on the couch. I enjoy watching sports, especially equine sports, but do not have any favorite teams.
