Greetings! Although I have only been at MMS for four years I have been teaching Science and Language Arts for 23 years. Yes, I'm old (-: I love being in beautiful Franklin and having the priviledge of being part of a supportive learning community. I am orginially from Mississippi but moved here from Florida via Texas. I love being a teacher and believe, as my grandmother used to say, that there is more to education than what's written in books - it's called life!
I have two brothers and their families that are still in Florida and my mom and sister with her family are in Texas. Needless to say, I love to travel and often take my red-headed fur baby, Missi, with me. Missi loves to ride in the car but isn't too fond of flying.
I look forward to learning with you this year and challenging each other to be and do our best.
