Welcome to 8th Grade English!
My name is Ms. Anderson, and I will be your English teacher this year. I graduated from Western Carolina University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in English Education. I am certified to teach English in grades 6-12. I have been teaching at Macon Middle School since 2002. I taught seventh grade English for five years, and I have been teaching eighth grade English for five years now. In December 2009, I graduated from Western Carolina University with a Master's degree in English with a concentration in Literature.
Both my English students and you (as a parent) are encouraged to use this site as a reference for daily lessons and assignments, announcements of upcoming classroom activities, and resources for student assistance.
