I am a graduate of Florida State University. I have a Masters in Spanish and English As A Second Language as well as a minor in French. I began my teaching career in Atlanta,Georgia where I taught Spanish and French for 30 years. I moved to Franklin in 2002 to enjoy the retired life which lasted 2 months. I have been teaching for Macon County Schools since May, 2007.
I have a new teaching schedule for the 2011-2012 school year. You will find me at Franklin High School everyday, Monday thru Friday, in the morning until 10:00. If you need to talk to me just call the main office at 524-4647. I transition to Macon Middle School for the remainder of the school day EVERYDAY.
I work with the ESL students in the English Bridge class at FHS and spend the rest of the school day with the ESL 7th and 8th graders. I enjoy working at both schools because I am able to continue my interest in all my students educational endeavors.
