Welcome to Ms. Crownover's 1st Grade Class

We are excited about all we are learning this year.

 I'm hoping that everyone had a great Christmas vacation, and now a wonderful Valentine's Day.  We have several activities for Valentine's Day that the children will enjoy.  We are just having a fun today, and enjoying each other!!

As an introduction profile of myself, Margaret Irene Crownover, born and raised in Asheville, N.C.  Ms. Crownover is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Ms. Crownover has one son, Luke, that is part of our Naval forces for the last eight years. I truly enjoy being a first grade teacher!!

As an introduction profile of myself, Karen Rodriguez, I was born and raised in Hiawassee, Ga. I graduated from Young Harris Community College in Young Harris, Ga. and from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC.  My husband, Frank, and I have been blessed with four sons.  I know God has gifted me to work with children and I truly enjoy teaching first grade!

The students are so wonderful and sweet!! We are making great progress through mid-year assessments, and are moving on towards our completion of the 2011-2012 school year.  I hope everyone enjoyed the academic awards that they received after Christmas, and realize all the effort and hard work the children have completed so far this school year.
