Welcome to Speech-Language at South Macon Elementary

     My name is Melissa Curtis and I am in my 21st year as a Speech Pathologist.  I graduated from Western Carolina University in 1989 with my masters degree in Communication Disorders.  I have worked in a variety of settings and have been in Macon County Schools for 15 years.

      South Macon is served by two full time Speech Pathologists and one part time.  We serve approximately 125 students with needs ranging from mild articulation to severe communication disorders.
