Thank you Western Carolina University and the College of Education Allied Professionals for supporting our project, “Field Science Techniques Expedition” for this coming spring 2020.  This project will enable 24 students in 6th – 8th grade to attend an overnight expedition at the Highlands Biological Stations in Highlands, North Carolina.  Students will learn about field science techniques while meeting real scientists and learning about our precious natural resources.  Thank you also to the Highlands Biological Station for partnering with Macon County Schools on this project.

Information and applications for this project will be sent home to 6th – 8th grade students early in January 2020.
