Franklin area schools will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Monday, December 11, 2023 with no buses on icy roads.
The Macon County Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, December 11, 2023 beginning at 6:00 pm at Franklin High School, located at 100 Panther Drive, Franklin.

We had an incredible November Board Meeting! Thank you East Franklin Elementary School for hosting! We had the best evening decorating our cookies, singing Christmas carols and spending time with students!

FHS hosted a parent supper and information night to share the ways our school collaborates to serve students alongside Pre-ETS and Vocational Rehabilitation services.
We enjoy working with students and their families to ensure they meet their goals now and in the future.
Just a reminder, the Macon County School System will be closed tomorrow, Friday, November 10, 2023 in observance of Veterans Day. Students and staff will return on Monday, November 13, 2023.

As part of that effort, the FCC is mobilizing people and organizations to help raise awareness about the ACP. The materials in the link below are available for public use, and you can download and customize them to meet your needs. Tomorrow, Friday, October 20, 2023 will be a teacher workday for Franklin area schools. (This does not include Macon Early College. Macon Early College will be in session.)
Students in the Franklin area will return to class on Monday, October 23, 2023.

On October 2nd, National Custodian Worker's Recognition Day encourages appreciation to the employees who keep our schools running smoothly. Custodial workers operate behind the scenes. They are the first line of defense of the war on germs and often, it's a thankless task. So, on National Custodian Day, show your appreciation to your school custodian!
