Bus 28 will run every morning this week, but it only run it's afternoon route on Tuesday (10/28) and Wednesday (10/29).

We were honored to host our State Superintendent Mo Green and his team ! We appreciate their time, leadership, and commitment to supporting schools across our state. The Student Leadership Team is proud to announce the third Powerful Panther of this school year, Mrs. Mauck!!!! Lady Panthers Advance! 🐾🏐 The Lady Panthers move on to the 4th Round after a hard-fought, thrilling match against North Lincoln — pulling off a clutch 15–13 win in the final set! They’ll travel to Carson this Saturday to battle for a spot in the Final Four. Let’s go, Panthers!

🎾 Lady Panthers Advance to the Quarterfinals! 🎾

Huge congratulations to our Franklin Lady Panther Tennis Team for an incredible 6–3 upset win over #4 West Rowan last night! 💪🔥

With the victory, our Panthers advance to the Quarterfinal Round of the NCHSAA Playoffs and will travel to East Lincoln on Wednesday to continue their postseason run.

Volleyball Wins Mountain 8 Conference Tournament Title!

In a thrilling 3–1 victory, the Lady Panthers defeated the #6 state-ranked and defending state champion West Henderson Falcons in the conference tournament finals, claiming the title of 2025 Mountain 8 Conference Tournament Champions!

Congratulations to Audrey Pressley, who was named to the All-Tournament Team for her outstanding performance!

The Lady Panthers Host Enka at 6:30pm on Tuesday, October 21st in the Panther Den. Come out and support your Tournament Champion and NCHSAA West #3 Seed Lady Panthers!!!

FHS Interact Glow -N-Dark Spirit Bonfire FHS Interact students and sponsors Amanda Dowdle and Anna Shields hosted an incredible Glow-N-Dark Spirit Bonfire for our students. The event had an outstanding turnout, creating a fun, positive, and safe evening for FHS students — and even a few MMS students joined in on the fun! Thank you to everyone who showed up and all the volunteers that helped make this event possible. Special shoutout to our Macon County Sheriff’s Deparment and our fire departments for ensuring the event was safe for all.

For students who have registered for the PSAT (optional) on Tuesday October 21 please remember to bring number two pencils and report to the media center after checking into first period. A jacket is recommended.
