After several weeks of intense practice and preparation, Zoe participated in the NC Elementary Honors Chorus in Winston-Salem last weekend. She was selected last month out of close to a thousand who auditioned to be in the top 160ish 4th-6th graders in the state! Great honor for SME to have a student selected for this honor. :-) She is among the first ever in Macon County to picked for such an honor! Congratulations!!

Attention Kindergarten Parents, tomorrow at 10:00 am , the first Panther Legacy will take place at FHS. FHS Seniors will present a token item to every kindergarten student in the county as a symbol of passing down the Panther Pride. Kindergarten parents are welcome to attend. The event will start at 10 am . Parents are asked to park in the lower practice field if possible off Phillip Street. Parents will sit on the visitor side of the field. Today was Mismatch Monday, dress tacky, wacky, or inside out! Tuesday is Team-Up Tuesday, come in your jersey or show off your favorite team! Wednesday is Wildcat Wednesday, dress in blue or Wildcat attire! Thursday is Trick 'r' Treat Thursday, come dressed in your costume or as your favorite character - school-appropriate! Friday is Flip-It Friday, students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students!
